Attractions and Activities
Zoo Train:
The Reid Park Zoo Express train is located just outside the front gate of the Zoo. Each ride is $2, and multi ride tickets are available. The train runs during most business hours, depending on visitation levels.
Kenya Get Wet:
Bring a towel! This interactive wet play area is open daily, depending on the weather. Gates remain closed if very cold, during thunder storms, and during peak school field trip hours.
Wild Ideas:
Housed in the new Lee H. Brown Conservation Learning Center, the Wild Ideas exhibit is open daily during regular Zoo hours. In addition to live animals and hand-on exhibits, you may find docents with contact animals, games, or crafts.
Daily Activities:
Always check the daily schedule at the Zoo gate. We are always planning new opportunities for guests to interact with staff and observe animals in a new way.
